Dinky 448
Dinky 448 Chevrolet Pick Up & Trailers. Very near mint/boxed. Rare find in the GOLD EXPORT BOX. From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
Made by Dinky between 1963-68, this desirable and scarce set contains:
1) Chevrolet El Camino in an original, two tone cream and turquoise finish. Red interior. Shiny shaped spun wheels with suspension. Bright baseplate. Barely a mark!
2) 2 x Trailers in red plastic with silver diecast bases, and integral tow bars. Very near mint condition.Opening door on the closed trailer as well as complete “ACME TRAILER HIRE” transfers on one side of the covered trailer, little nick to the other.
_An unusual and sought-after Dinky set and a particularly scarce find in this gold export box (first we have ever offered for sale in this packaging). These boxes with a large percentage in cellophane nearly always suffer. This particular example has intact bright card, although the cellophane has been replaced at some time. Minor age wear besides. Yellow fixing clips are still present.
