Notes

Always a sought-after set from Corgi – this is the second issue from 1964 which includes the Giraffe Truck rather than the Booking Office. (Other minor differences too).
The attractive, highly detailed pictorial scene card box is intact and bright with a few light stains. Minor age wear and a period price label.

Lift off the lid and the original white card packing piece is still present – nearly always discarded.

This set comes complete with all of its original contents. Condition ranges from near mint – very near mint:

1) 438 Land Rover with plastic tilt and complete labels on both sides. Hard to find a mark to the paint finish (minor light discolouration to one side of the plastic tilt).

2) 1121 Crane Truck, with one mark on the roof (few tiny marks besides), and minor dulling to the chrome finish on the jib in places.

3) 2 x 1123 Animal Cages.
a) Light scuff to one of the amber glass roof sections and minor light discolouration to the central blue plastic sliding door.
b) Barely any wear at all. Looks completely unused.

With pair of polar bears and lions and unapplied labels.

4) 607 Elephant & Cage on Trailer. Complete paper label, black lifting eye on the roof. Small side crumple in the plastic (due to storage). Red and blue trailer has shaped spun wheels. Barely a mark!

5)* 503 Giraffe Transporter*. Bedford TK truck in vibrant red with a bright, deeper blue back (one side is a little paler due to exposure to light). Shining shaped spun wheels with suspension and ?Chipperfields Circus? paper labels on both sides. Both wing mirrors intact. Hard to find a mark to the paint finish . Hinged ramp at rear to let the two giraffes in and out!

The polystyrene inner is complete. Minor marking caused by the items. Comes with the white card surround too, which further protects the polystyrene. Minor grubbiness.
