Notes
Typically, the last item to be added to any Corgi military collection – the rare U.S issue in the plain stamped box! Made during 1963 and ‘Special Order’ only. It did not re-appear until January 1965 when it was re-numbered 357. Only 17000 were ever made.
This example has a deep military green finish with a lemon interior, intact aerial. Shaped spun hubs with suspension.Negligible mark or two to the paint finish. U.S. Army stars on bonnet and both doors. With USA labels and light details, front and rear (first we have seen decorated in this way).
The plain blue and yellow box has stamped details on end flaps as shown. Minor wear (occasional light scuff/rub, edge crumple).
A very difficult item to find in this box presentation.
