We are delighted to offer for sale the rarest of the ‘Corgi Toys’ Bedford Vans. In stunning, all original condition with an eye-catching vibrant mid-blue lower half and a bright yellow upper half. ‘Corgi Toys’ lettering and logo are complete on both sides. Shiny flat spun wheels and a bright baseplate. Original fine tread tyres are well-shaped.
Issued between 1960-62, in various blue and yellow combinations, this particular version is a really difficult find.
This Bedford Van has a day-one lustre to the paint finish – in very close to mint condition, in fact. Little chip at the rear visible only from the underside. Small area of rough casting at a window post. Faintest surface mark on the roof (may be possible to fully clean off). Little raised casting dot. Couple of negligible marks besides.
The picture box is complete and bright, with a crisp feel. No tears or graffiti. Minor age/handling wear only.
An outstanding investment piece to enjoy.
