C448
Corgi 448 B.M.C. Mini Police Van With Tracker Dog. Very near mint/boxed, with packing. From 'The New European' Collection.
Notes
This popular Austin Mini Van was issued between 1964-69. Obviously, this item has barely been out of its box – note that the aerial has become a little mis-shapen now due to long storage in its box (although it may be teased straight with application of gentle heat). The van has a wonderful original lustre, jewelled headlights and suspension on shaped spun wheels. Complete POLICE labels on both sides. It comes with both original figures, complete with original lead!
Just a few minor marks only.
The detailed and colourful inner card stand is in virtually pristine condition with no tears at the wheel slots or where the figures are slotted.
The outer box is crisp, bright and fresh. Comes with the little card packing piece too.
Small area of surface loss on one side. (not immediately obvious, since it is within one of the small white rectangular blocks on one picture surface).
A beautiful example on display.
