Dinky 290 Double Deck Bus 'DUNLOP'. Very near mint/boxed. Green & cream type 3 issue. Lovely box! Another classic Dinky model from 'The Heart of England' Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1959-61 with a type 3, Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus presents well with a lustrous original deep green and cream paint finish, lighter green wheels and smooth original tyres. Complete lettering on both sides:
Little chip above the radiator. Mere dot or two besides. Note the factory sweep of immediately below the cream section on one side (impossible to notice without magnification and strong light).
The attractive pictorial box is a real treat. Vividly-coloured, crisp and fresh-looking, with all end flaps complete. Correct colour spot at the end flaps. Tiny wear only. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
