Notes
The Monty Calme landmark Corgi Collection, covering the width and breadth of Corgi models amassed over decades by an exuberant collector. The Monty Calme collection is a truly astonishing gathering of the best of Corgi models and ephemera, including rare and unique pieces and point of sale items. The largest collection we have ever seen.
A very attractive example of this popular Corgi model, issued between 1962-67 in a variety of colour finishes.
This scarce colour finish – deep metallic blue – is in very close to mint condition with barely a mark. Minor surface split to one of the tyres. Red interior and suspension on shaped spun wheels. Jewelled headlights, opening bonnet and boot. Correct that there is one large opening suitcase and one smaller case stowed in the boot.
Lovely lustre on this Jaguar model:
The box is complete, with a crisp feel. Deep colours. No tears. No graffiti. Little corner crumple and a couple of stain spots. Light age wear besides.
