C201
Corgi 201 Austin Cambridge Saloon. Light blue issue. Very, very near mint/boxed. A superlative example from The 'Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
This early Corgi model (1956-61) has a delightful light blue finish with bright flat spun hubs and a shiny baseplate. Glowing untouched colours!
Upon the most scrupulous examination, one will find just one tiny mark ( feels over-critical to downgrade for that).
The early powder blue picture box looks very fresh with vivid colours on crisp, barely handled card. Gives the impression of unsold old shop stock.
A very difficult find in this condition.
