C468
Corgi 468 Routemaster Bus, in New South Wales livery. Near mint plus/boxed. Extremely scarce version! From 'The New European' Collection.
Notes
A rare find, and usually missing from most collections, this is a Routemaster Bus in the *New South Wales livery *with ‘Corgi Classics’ transfers on one side, ‘Naturally Corgi Toys’ on the other, bright shaped spun wheels and jewelled headlights. Correct, distinctive and original finish of brown, cream and green. An authentic example with a shining unrubbed finish! Complete with driver, conductor, post, detailed cream interior, bright yellow staircase, window glazing.
One little chip on the roof, but notably none of the usual rubbing to the ribs on the roof. One very small nick to the ‘Corgi Classics’ transfer, the ’Naturally Corgi ’transfer is absolutely fine. Few tiny marks to the paint finish.
The crisp and clean card pictorial box has strong colours and no tears. Removal of a price label at an end flap at some time incurred a little area of surface loss.
Very minor wear besides.
