C428
Corgi 428 Smith's Mister Softee Ice Cream Van. Near mint plus/boxed. Very crisp box! From The 'Monty Calme' Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1963-66, this popular ice cream van is in all original, close to mint condition, with delightful detailed transfers throughout and spring suspension on all four wheels. Well-shaped tyres. Ice cream vendor will endlessly serve you with an ice cream cone through the sliding hatch at the front, if you turn the little knob on the baseplate.
Close inspection reveals a couple of light scratches on one of the side windows. Barely a mark to the paint finish. Minor grubbiness to the complete transfers.
A nicely nostalgic item presented in a complete, bright, very crisp box. As-new feel! Period pencilled price at an end flap. Little storage crumple. Corgi Club Membership Form.
