C213S
Corgi 213S 2.4 Jaguar Fire Service Car. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce suspension version in dark red. From The "Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
This superb Corgi car with suspension was made between 1961-62 only and is a difficult model to find, particularly in this condition. It has a deep shining red paint finish (darker than the non-suspension version), shaped spun wheels with suspension, perfect detailed transfers on both sides, straight aerial and shiny metal “FIRE” sign on the roof with bell and siren each side. Fine original tyres.
A very faint barely visible scratch on the bonnet and a dot or two if you peer closely enough!
The picture box is bright, clean and complete. Minor rubbing/ruffling at some edges and a shopkeeper’s pencilled price at an end flap.
A sought-after Corgi model.
