C230
Corgi 230 Mercedes-Benz 220SE. Near mint plus/boxed. Black version. Scarce. From The 'Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1962-67 in a few different finishes, this particular version in black is the most difficult version to find. Intact bonnet emblem and suspension on shaped spun wheels. Very similar to Corgi 253 – but unlike 253, note that this issue (correctly) has no quarter-light window.
Several small marks mostly at the sides. Original tyres are well-shaped. Note the addition of period Corgi number plates and tax disc.
The box is complete, bright and feeling crisp. Little corner crumple and minor age/handling wear. Plenty of end flap spring.
