C230
Corgi 230 Mercedes-Benz 220SE. Very, very near mint/boxed. Cream. From The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
First issue in cream with a red interior, issued between 1962-67. Very similar to Corgi 253 – but unlike 253, note that this issue (correctly) has no quarterlight window.
Spare wheel stowed in the boot.
An impressive example.
Intact bonnet emblem and suspension on shaped spun wheels. Notably the roof is unrubbed and the model presents well with a fine lustre. Few tiny pinprick marks.
The box is crisp and intensely-coloured. So crisp and obviously barely handled. Hard to find this good!
Very, very nice!
