Another first for QDT! This is the first Wall’s Musical Ice Cream Van that we have ever offered for sale in this plain, stamped end box.
One of the most eagerly sought-after Corgi models, especially with fully working chimes. (five note, simple tune).

The Ford Thames Van has a shining blue and cream finish with striped awning and decorative trimmings, sliding windows and notably when you turn the handle the chimes play the complete tune. Bright plated fittings and complete ’Wall’s’ transfers on both sides. Windows are rather ‘foggy’ now (common fault – over time dust gets trapped and adhered to the interior surface of the windows). Occasional tiny mark to the paint finish.
Nice to see that this example comes with the clean and bright colourful card stand as well as the wrap-around card packing piece. Labels have been applied. Corgi Club Membership Form/Instruction Leaflet included as well as the card packing ring.

The plain, stamped-end card box* is crisp and quite bright with no tears. Plenty of end flap spring. Lightest grubbiness and very minor age wear.
A truly nostalgic piece – very few were issued in this card box with stamped ends.
