C852
Corgi 852 Magic Roundabout Carousel. Near mint plus/boxed. With packing. Working musical mechanism. Scarce item from The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1972-74, this delightful nostalgic piece was inspired by the Magic Roundabout T.V. series.
In close to mint condition, complete with all 5 figures bright and colourful (minor grubbiness). Turn the dial which has Dylan atop, and the carousel turns with the instantly familiar Magic Roundabout theme tune playing!
Bright colours and very close to complete-complete decorative paper labels (very small area rubbed off). Little scratch to another label. Light wear besides.
Complete with both card packing card pieces (wear).
The attractive decorative card box is brightly-coloured and complete. Some wear but no tears, repairs or graffiti. No sunfading. Handling/storage grubbiness in places. Small area of surface loss where the old tape which kept the lid closed was removed at some time.
Often the boxes for this item are in poor condition with heavy wear and end flaps missing- or simply sold with no box at all!
An unusual and eye-catching Corgi model with lots of nostalgic appeal.
