C153
Corgi 153 Proteus Campbell Bluebird Record Car. Near mint/boxed. Early issue with U.S. & U.K. crossed flags & black plastic wheels.
Notes
Issued between 1961-65, this black plastic-wheeled version is in all original condition with virtually intact crossed Union Jack flag and U.S. flag on the nose (this is the earlier version – later issue has one UK and one USA flag). Tiny edge nick to the transfer border.
Tiny rub dot at a couple of wheel arches ( nearly always found more rubbed at these points due to box contact). Note the chip near and on the red recess paint details. Minor marking at front and rear exposed points.
The long slim box is very bright, complete and clean Light creasing on one box face and very minor wear besides. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
