C412
Corgi 412 Bedford "Utilecon" Ambulance. Near mint plus/boxed. Scarce version with one-piece screen and ridged detail roof. From a dedicated Corgi collector in The Home Counties.
Notes
Nearly always found with a ‘divided’ windscreen, this Bedford Ambulance is a scarce find with a one-piece screen and a ridged detail roof.
Presents well:
Small top edge nick in the transfer since both have been (factory) set a little high, so more inclined to wear.
Magnification reveals a small factory retouch on the roof toward the rear. Shiny silver trim. Bright tinplate base and well-shaped original lightly treaded tyres.
Bright picture box is complete and clean with no tears or graffiti. Minor age/handling wear only.
