C801
Corgi 801 Noddy's Car with Noddy, Big Ears & Mr. Tubby. Light tan Tubby issue, in later style window box. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1969-73, this is a delightful novelty item – and it is presented in the later deepest navy blue window box with floral garland decoration.
A most attractive item, with all three figures of Noddy, Big Ears and the tan-faced Mr. Tubby crammed into a bright red and yellow ?cartoon? car with balloon tyres! Detailed cast wheels. As-new balloon tyres.
Negligible dot or two to the chrome if you really want to fault it.
Window box is dated 1973 on the underside. The bright, crisp, pictorial inner has very minor wear only.
The colourfully-illustrated outer box is bright and clean, although the original cellophane has a small puncture. Minor handling wear besides. One set of end flaps appear never to have been opened.
