Corgi 274 Bentley 'T' Series H.J. Mulliner Park Ward & Corgi 280 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Early two tone issue. Very near mint/boxed. From The Monty Calme Collection.
Notes
This pairing comprises:
1) Corgi 274 Bentley ‘T’ Series H.J. Mulliner Park Ward. Surely an under-valued car from Corgi made between 1970-72. A high quality finish in bright pink with black coach lines, plenty of bright chrome detail, jewelled headlights.
Very nice!
One little sweep of extra factory paint on a front wing. The two-piece inner stand (card and polystyrene) is intact, clean and looking as-new. .
Outer box has crisp fresh-looking card. Tear to the cellophane.
2) Corgi 280 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. A beautiful luxurious saloon car in a sparkling silver and blue finish with a perfect bonnet emblem and jewelled headlights.
Detailed interior and gold steering wheel. Opening doors and bonnet (reveals a detailed engine). Wear to the chrome immediately surrounding the headlights.
The shop-fresh early red and yellow cellophane-fronted window box is very bright indeed, with intact, original cellophane. Storage ‘dip’ to the cellophane.
