Notes

It is such a delight to come upon these very early Dinky Delivery Vans and this one is in all original condition with superb gold lettering on both sides. All sound and intact with no parts broken or missing. These early vans made of lead composition do not suffer from the fatigue often found in the later second and third type vans.

This commercial Dinky was made for such a short time – between 1934-35 – so it is especially sought in this condition. All original throughout with an intense and rich deep blue pigment, complemented by complete glistening gold lettering on both sides and purple-washed wheels.
Rather splendid in fact!

There are a couple of chips at one top edge and another at a front wheel arch. Occasional small mark besides. Bright radiator surround, intact axles.
_A delight to own – these early advertising vans are in extremely short supply! _
