N186
Nicky/Dinky Toys 186 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE. Rare pale silver-blue version. Very near mint/boxed. From The Eric Slager Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A very close to mint example finished in a most attractive shade of pale silver-blue, with original silver details, off-white interior, steering wheel, and intact window glazing. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels.
Mint paint finish – just one flake of chrome on the underside of the front bumper.
Shiny black base with ‘KUMAR & CO. Licensee in India’ on the base.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is complete, colourful and clean. Storage crumple and a couple of end flap tears.
