C208M
Corgi 208M Jaguar 2.4 Litre Saloon. Metallic blue. Near mint plus/boxed. From The 25 Year Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1957-60, this is an all original example in vibrant metallic mid-blue with flat spun wheels and a black painted baseplate. Working fly wheel motor. Shiny flat spun wheels and fine origibal treaded tyres.
Very small raised casting mark on the roof. Small area of glue residue at the rear number plate area (probably where a number plate was added and then removed at some time).
The early powder blue box is really crisp, bright and complete with all end flaps intact. Looks fresh, with plenty of end flap spring. Light grubby strip on the top surface. ‘1957’ pencilled at an end flap. Period stamped price at another. Corgi Club Membership Form.
