N137
Nicky Toys 137 Plymouth Fury Sports. Near mint plus/boxed. Red with black hood issue. Scarce model from a carefully hand-picked selection of models in The Netherlands.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This particular example is finished in deep red, black hood, yellow ochre interior, and both seated figures. One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Tinplate base. Opening bonnet with engine detail. Silver trim.
Minor mark or two to the original paint finish and note the typical finish t the interior ( back edge).
Colourful card box is better than many we have seen over the years. Complete with all end flaps (tear to one) and a crisp feel. Penned number at a non-picture side. Very minor wear only.
