Notes
Issued during 1969 with a black-faced Golly, this is the second issue where the colour was changed to a lighter grey colour, in response to racial concerns. Later still, the Golly would have a pink or light tan face and then eventually be replaced with the uncontroversial Mr.Tubby!
This example is in virtually perfect condition. A most attractive item, with all three figures of Noddy, Big Ears and Golly crammed into a bright red and yellow ‘cartoon’ car with balloon tyres! Detailed spoked cast wheels.
Paintwork is vivid and in tip-top condition .Few negligible chrome marks.
Window box is dated 1969 on the reverse.Virtually shop-fresh condition, with intact original cellophane. Period price label.
