Notes
Issued between 1960-64, this eye-catching Dinky taxi has a mid orange-yellow and red paint finish, bright shaped spun wheels with suspension and well-shaped, white knobbly tyres. Lemon interior and white steering wheel. Matt baseplate with Patent nos. stamped. Complete ‘Taxi’ sign on the roof. Presents very nicely indeed with a vibrant original finish with virtually complete-complete lettering at both sides:
Note the as-made reddish tint at bonnet edge.
A couple of mere dots the paint finish and a light scratch to the rear screen.
The lighter yellow picture box is very crisp and brightly-coloured. Very minor wear only.
