D161
Dinky 161 Austin Somerset Saloon. Scarce cream & black issue. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
This is the sought after late two-tone issue made towards the end of the run 1956-59. In authentic and original condition throughout with a pleasing lustre to the paint finish. Correct that this early issue does not have the rear light detail or silver numberplate. Correct smooth tyres have no flat spots.
Very nice!
A few mere dots to the paint finish.
The box is bright and complete. Correct colour spot at the end flaps. A little age/handling wear including a couple of light stains/grubbiness on a non-picture side.
