Corgi 309 Aston Martin Competition Model. Near mint/boxed. Racing number 1. Scarce. From a small cache of models in Dunfermline, Scotland.
Notes
A sought-after Corgi car and one of the key items in the Corgi Gift Set 15 Silverstone Set. This example is in all original condition with a shining turquoise and white finish, lemon interior, notably complete crossed flags on the bonnet, suspension on shining shaped spun hubs, jewelled headlights, racing number 1on both doors.
Issued between 1962-65.
In original condition, with some light wear at bumpers. Couple of small marks and a thin red pen mark or similar at a front wing. Small thin graze at the bumper edge nearby. Note that one headlight is factory fitted slightly misaligned. Occasional tiny dot to the paint finish besides.
The box is complete and free of tears. Light age/handling wear only. Period price is penned at an end flap.
