N113
Nicky/Dinky Toys 113 MGB Sports. Silver version. Excellent plus/boxed. Scarce. From a hand-picked selection of models in The Netherlands.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
A scarce example finished in silver with a matching interior interior, driver, steering wheel, and intact screen. Silver and black plastic one-piece tyres/wheels.
Little area of rough casting on the bonnet and a few marks to the paint finish mostly confined to the driver’s side. Shiny black base.
The colourful correct box (ATAMCO P LTD. Calcutta) is a very pleasing example (for this range). Colourful, clean and crisp – and free of the usual heavy wear that plague these comparatively flimsy boxes. Little tear and minor wear.
