Corgi 462 Commer van 'HAMMONDS'. Scarce promotional model. Very near mint/correct plain box. From The Collection of a Doctor.
Notes
Issued during 1971, this Comer Van is in fine, all original condition with a distinctive deep blue- mid green and white finish, red detailed interior, suspension on detailed cast wheels. Paper labels are complete on one side, , small area of surface loss mostly to the cream background on the other side. Coplete label at the rear.
Couple of minor marks to the paint finish.
Correct plain blue and yellow box with 462 hand-written at both ends. ‘Hammonds’ (Hull) is also hand-written at one side of the box. Minor age/handling wear includes some light rubbing in places.
Not an easy variation to find.
