Corgi Gift Set 4 Bloodhound Guided Missile Set. Near mint plus- very, very near mint/boxed. With Rocket Age Leaflet & both upper and lower packing pieces. From The Collection of a Doctor.
Notes
Issued between 1958-60 and a difficult set to find in any condition.
It comprises:
1) Corgi 351 R.A.F. Land Rover. Tin canopy and flat spun wheels, including spare. Tow hook. In near mint plus condition.
2) Corgi 1115 Bristol Ferranti Bloodhound. Scarce yellow-finned version. Nose cone is notably intact. Very,very near mint. The best example we have ever seen.
3) Corgi 1116 Launching Ramp looks completely unused. Bright metal parts throughout. Couple of chips.
4) Corgi 1117 Bloodhound Loading Trolley. Working well. Bright metal parts. Looks unused. A few light mottled spots.
The colourful outer box presents well with strong colours on the clean card. Hard to find this good. Minor age wear only. No repairs at seams! Remains of a price label at one corner of the lid and a small area of surface loss at this site.
Complete with both upper and lower packing pieces.
Nice to see that the Rocket Age Leaflet is included – lots of details and pictures of this military range.
