Notes
This version was produced between 1954-59, before its re-numbering to FD575 in 1959. A beautiful and unused example with a sleek deep blue finish and painted ridged wheels. Perfect eye-catching logo and lettering on both sides. Do note that this scarce version has the first letter in each word in blue-green. Green background to the map is darker too.
With minute examination, you will find a couple of negligible rubs and a small scratch on the tinplate tilt. Nice original lustre throughout makes this a superb display piece.
The box has is exceptionally bright, clean and fresh As-new look and feel.
Note however a very small handling tear emanating from one small end flap and a little bottom edge surface scuff.
Clean, complete and bright. Tiny edge ruffle and very minor wear at end flaps. Crease.
A classic Dinky model which displays so well!
