D159
Dinky 159 Morris Oxford Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce example in cerise and ivory with cream ridged wheels. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
A classic Dinky model issued just during 1954 with a shining cerise and ivory paint finish, cream hubs. In all original condition with a shining silver trim.
Shiny base and well-shaped original treaded tyres.
Obviously unplayed-with and carefully handled, it is really difficult to find even the smallest mark! Note the little as-made paint ‘bubble’ on the roof.
The pictorial card box, displaying the correct two-colour spot is complete and bright. A little age grubbiness and light edge rubbing. Period pencilled price at an end flap.
