Notes
A substantial and heavy pre-production sample of the Kojak Buick finished in a rich bronze with a painted lemon interior, shiny spoked wheels . With roof light on red plastic lead. Crocker is able to rotate slightly. Plastic Kojak figure complete with his signature hat!
Model is made to the same scale as the production examples.
Factory number ‘47’ on the base:
Chip at the rear and a few marks besides.
Still looks magnificent!
Lift -off lidded white box has ‘47’ penned and a couple of pencilled numbers and letters which no doubt had relevance at the time. Complete product label.
Included is the fascinating leaflet which explains the plans for the production model. Rare to find any of these pre-production notes!
The owner informs us that this model was originally the property of Marcel Van Cleemput, chief designer for Corgi.
