Notes
The MBU COllector says:
“From a Nigel Loveland Shrink-Wrap (Corgi Sales Director). Never been out of the box . A lovely toy.”
A very popular Corgi model – this example is in all original, very close to perfect condition, with a fine and gleaming scarlet paint finish. The left-hand drive version has a notably complete detailed bonnet label, complete door numbers and “Nairobi” label. Chrome bumpers, wheels, baseplate, and sparkling jewelled headlights.
It comes complete with rhino, as well as the white card wrap-around packing piece and the yellow card packing piece that fits over the wheel on the roof.
Note the original Corgi Shopkeeper’s price label for this item is included (unused, still on backing sheet).
The colourful card plinth on which car and rhino sit is a most attractive display piece. Crisp, as-new feel to the vibrant, crisp card. Very close to perfect. No wheel slot or rhino slot tears!
Vividly-coloured backdrop for this model. Both end pull tabs are present. Box reverse has lots of information about the “Beetle”.
Little front edge ‘wrinkle’.
The outer box is a superb and fresh example!Surely one of the best examples we have seen
Model specific Leaflet included, too.
