One of the most difficult and sought-after Corgi Gift Sets. This remarkable set is in unused and original condition, with Instructions, mat, glue, paints and paint brush. Hard to find with all these components! Corgi Quality Control Tag still present too.

Paint case looks shop-fresh with none of the expected wear to the delicate plastic inner. Original little green paint brush is tucked in neatly at the back of the plastic inner. Glue tube is ‘unsqueezed’!
Mat was found neatly rolled up – just as it would have left the Corgi Factory.

This is a completely unused set – boxes are so crisp, clean and fresh and feel as if they have been opened just once or twice in the past 49 or so years. It is worth noting too that each item is original to this set – with all boxes in this pristine condition and without tell-tale prices at end flaps or varying condition – which are signs of a later ‘made-up’ set.
This exciting set comprises:

1) Corgi 224 Bentley Continental Sports Saloon. Very, very near mint condition with a lustrous finish and bright chrome parts intact bonnet emblem (of course!). Virtually shop-fresh box (tiny tear). With Corgi Club Membership Form.

2) Corgi 225 Austin Seven. Very,very near mint condition (tiny mark on the roof). Shop-fresh box, with Corgi Club Membership Form.

3) Corgi 229 Chevrolet Corvair. Very, very near mint. Shop-fresh box, with Corgi Club Membership Form.

4) Corgi 234 Ford Consul Classic. Very near mint condition with a couple of little marks at a front wing (must be as-made). Shop-fresh box, with Corgi Club Membership Form.

5) Corgi 419 Ford Zephyr Motorway Patrol. With blue roof light, perfect ‘POLICE’ transfers and straight intact aerial. Very, very near mint condition. Shop-fresh box, with Corgi Club Membership Form. Complete with packing card.

6) 3 × 601 Batley “Leofric” Garages Kits. Shop-fresh. Box appears to have never been opened.

1 × 602 AA & RAC Telephone Boxes Kit. Shop-fresh. Box appears to have never been opened.

2 × 606 Corgi Lamp Standards. Shop-fresh. Box appears to have never been opened.

1 × 608 Shell Filling Station Building. Shop-fresh. Box appears to have never been opened.

1 × 609 Shell Filling Station Forecourt Accessories. Shop-fresh. Box appears to have never been opened.

Instruction Leaflet:

Large sturdy outer box is an excellent, brightly-coloured example. No card tears or signs of heavy wear.

A couple of nibbles/small areas of surface loss to the paper label. and a very small repaired tear to the paper label. Some of the usual grubbiness and light wear. Period penned DC/-

Finally, we would like again to stress the rarity of this set which is completely unused and authentic throughout.
A notable addition to any Corgi collection. A very difficult find indeed.
