C240
Corgi 240 Ghia-Fiat Jolly. Very near mint/boxed (wear). Rarest version in METALLIC MID-BLUE. 1st we have ever offered for sale. From The West London Collection.
Notes
Rare to come to the market place – and the first we have ever offered for sale. Usual version has a non-metallic blue finish.
This example is finished in a metallic mid-blue with both seated figures inside, this delightful Corgi model was made between 1963-64.
Barely any of the usual chrome rubbing and the sun canopy is complete with all delicate parts intact. Light rub to the rear of the canopy. Just a couple of negligible marks to the paint finish.
The card picture box is bright and complete. Crisp feel. For the most part, very clean, bright and fresh, too. Little traces of an old price label or similar on the top surface and a couple of areas of surface loss at this site (one being very small indeed).
