C264
Corgi 264 Oldsmobile Toronado. Near mint plus/boxed. Metallic Peacock Blue issue, cast wheels. From The MBU Collection.
Notes
Issued 1966-69, in a striking metallic peacock blue finish, cream interior, detailed cast hubs with suspension and retractable jewelled headlights. This model was issued in various shades of greenish-blue, with this being a vivid mid-shade. Wonderfully striking on display, especially with the retractable jewelled head and spot lights.
Grey base, with wheel for operating the headlight mechanism. Fine original tyres.
In close to mint condition with shiny chrome. Note the little (probably factory assembly) mark to the chrome on one of the headlight ‘covers’ (common fault). Occasional tiny mark to the paint finish.
The box is complete and brightly coloured, if a little grubby now. Minor wear besides.
