This is an impressive example of this popular Corgi model, presented in the winged blister-style box. Not an easy model to find. The Jaguar has a bright mid-blue metallic finish, black interior, spoked wheels, opening doors, bonnet (revealing a detailed engine), and boot. Detailed interior has tip up seats and a rear sliding seat. Nicely detailed on the underside too. As-new, fine tread tyres with ‘Corgi Toys’ embossed. Bright chrome bumpers (tiny over-rider rubs) and distinctive recessed headlights. Near complete label at the rear (most of the ‘T’ of ‘Type’ has rubbed away).
Still, in very close to mint, obviously unused condition.

Little paint chip at an opening door hinge and a light rub or two besides.
The attractive box is very fine indeed – crisp, fresh and bright card and an intact ‘bubble’. Minor ‘lifting’ at one side edge with a surface tear at the paper covering the card in one small area . Unpunched header card Front edge of the card (a vulnerable area that is often worn) has none of the usual wear. Bright card plinth (as-new card) on which the car sits.

Stiff perspex packing piece is still present.
Delighted to see that it comes with the detachable winged card piece too. Clean, bright and very fresh – light crease at one end only.
