C452
Corgi 452 Commer Dropside Lorry. Near mint plus/boxed. Bright red and cream with flat spun wheels. From The Daylight Collection.
Notes
Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
An all original example in bright red (distinctly different from the deeper red version also issued by Corgi) and cream with bright flat spun wheels, bright baseplate (spare wheel fitted), window glazing.
Looks rarely handled – hard to resist its charm!
Occasional little rub at some raised points at the sides ( probably caused by box contact).
The blue and yellow picture box is complete and vividly-coloured. Grubbiness and wear caused during storage. Period price label at an end flap . Corgi Club Membership Form.
