Notes
This rare version is in very close to mint condition with a gleaming rich cream cab and chassis and a distinctive mid-blue back with perfect ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering in black. Red ridged wheels and smooth black tyres, shiny winding handle, issue with no window glazing. Complete with a working tow hook.
Such a pleasing lustre.
Notably, there is no paint loss at the tinplate jib.
Occasional tiny mark and after careful and painstaking scrutiny under magnification a few little later retouches were found.
Not visible under ‘normal use’.
The correct 430 picture box is clean, bright and fresh. Note that this scarce colour issue is pictured on the box. Minimal wear only.
