D199
Dinky 199 Austin Seven Countryman. Very near mint/boxed. *Fluorescent orange*. Scarce! From The Daylight Collection.
Notes
Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
The most difficult version to find of this model – in unmistakeable fluorescent orange, deep red detailed interior, silver trim, spun wheels with suspension. An unused example, with a couple of very small marks only ( probably as-made).
The correct card box with over-sticker stating that the ‘Colour of Model May Differ From Illustration’ is bright and complete. No graffiti. Minor wear at end flaps but no tears. Light crease.
A super little example of a difficult model to find.
