Discovered in the office of Marcel Van Cleemput the chief designer for Corgi, this is one of many ephemera items given to the MBU Collector as a thank you for his help with ‘The Great Book of Corgi’.
Issued during 1968, Corgi 277 Monkeemobile is a popular model inspired by the t.v. show ‘The Monkees’.
The Public Relations company Woolf, Laing Christie & Partners letter details the features of the Monkeemobile and is dated 1968 (model was released during this year). The image has the company’s stamp on reverse too.
