Originally purchased by the owner from a collector who enjoyed touring toy shops in the mid 60’s & early ’70’s buying models that appealed to him. If he could find a bargain then he would buy multiple examples of the same item. His collection comprises Dinky, Corgi and several Spot-On models.
A sought-after Gift Set from the Spot-On ‘Tommy Spot’ range.
This set comprises:
1) 309 Ford Zephyr Police Car from the t.v. series ‘Z Cars’, in white finish, complete with both aerials , red interior, shaped spun wheels. Shiny chrome trim and (assumed) complete number plates front and rear. Driver. Never removed from plinth.
2) 276 Jaguar in metallic blue, with red interior, number plates, shiny spun wheels, shiny chrome. Driver. Never removed from plinth.
With Policeman figure, robber and Tommy Spot, all affixed to the delightful card shop scene plinth. Delightful!
Outer box is complete and bright, although there is a small repaired tear to the card and a little wear and tear besides.
Small tear to the original cellophane.
