Corgi 419 Ford Zephyr Motorway Patrol. Very, very near mint/boxed. Transition issue in GLOSS WHITE but EARLY ROOF LIGHT. With packing card piece. From The DC Collection.

Issued between 1960-65, this transition example has an original gloss white finish (more usually matt), flat spun wheels, intact straight original aerial, smaller blue roof beacon and complete ‘POLICE’ transfers at front and rear.
Tiniest mark away from mint.
The box is bright and complete, clean with a crisp feel. Residue from a price label on one side ( and a very small fleck of surface loss at this site). No tears or graffiti. Lots of end flap spring.
Nice to see that this example has the card packing piece which protects both the aerial and roof light. Early Corgi Club Membership Form.
