Notes
An impressive array of Express Dairy Vans (3 cream, 3 grey) still enclosed within the Shopkeeper’s Trade box. Issues date from 1949-54 and at this time, these models would have been sold loose from this Trade Box.
Condition ranges from very near mint – and each example has virtually perfect- perfect ‘EXPRESS DAIRY’ lettering cab front. Tyres are originals and well-shaped.
5 examples are very near mint (note that there are 2 shades of grey . One of the paler grey examples is graded near mint).
Sturdy and bright dual-numbered trade box is complete. Dinky stamp on the base dates the box 1954. With original card dividers.Period pricing at one lid end. Rusty staples. Corner edge scuffing to base. Light wear.
An interesting array of Dinky Dairy vans which display very nicely indeed.
