Notes
The first Corgi Toys model issued – this car was made between 1956-61; the very first one colour examples would have been sold in the all blue card boxes.
This particular version is finished in a distinctive gloss oyster shade with a bright green lower half, flat spun wheels. All original. Some of the expected rubbing at side body lines. Fine silver trim. Well-shaped original tyres. This Consul presents well with a beautiful original lustre.
Shiny base.
The early blue picture box is bright, with a very crisp feel. Little stain on one non-picture surface and light wear besides. Note the period stamped dollar pricing at an end flap. Early Corgi Club Membership Form.
