Originally from The Monty Calme Collection, we are delighted to offer for sale once more, this original promotional Morris Mini Minor model, made in small numbers for ‘Reckitt & Colman’ to distribute to top retailers in order to promote ’Colman’s Mustard’.
Finished in vivid deep yellow, with a lighter yellow interior,* original label with ‘MUSTARD MANIA’ on the roof and a ’COLMAN’S MUSTARD’* label on one door (correct). Detailed cast wheels with suspension and fine original tyres. Rivetted base.
Few marks and wear commensurate with age to the labels.
This model was never issued in a specific ‘Mustard Mini’ box – it was presented simply in a standard issue Corgi 226 Mini box (verified by the son of a Reckitt & Colman’s regional Manager during the 1960’s).
