The owner tells us:
All of the models from The Smith Collection were bought by the same young boy on a weekly basis when they were released, and kept by the same collector unplayed with and in many cases never taken out of their boxes, right up until the present day. Rather unusual for a lad to buy toys and not play with them but he was a collector from a very young age!

This most eye-catching Car Transporter is in all original condition with a vibrant mid-blue cab, deep yellow and silver transporter, flat spun wheels.

A few little marks (mostly on the top ramp toward the rear) and a small nick to one of the side transfers. Complete Corgi dog logo and number plate.
Colourful lift-off lid picture box has a couple of little edge scuffs and light storage wear. Note the factory addition of a Corgi Dog paper label since there were some issued with the incorrect number on the front of the lid ( i.e. 1011 – we have an example showing the incorrect number in our archive).
Comes with both card packing pieces too ( so often the smaller wedge piece is missing).
