Nicky 405
Nicky 405 Army Jeep. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce with matte paper label - black lettering on cream background. From The Berlin Collection.
Notes
Sought-after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
Lustrous deep military green finish on this Army Jeep with complete transfer on the bonnet and a scarce find with a paper label at the front bumper; paper label with ‘US ARMY’ printed thin letters in a distinctive font on a cream background. Intact mid-green aerial, fine one-piece black plastic wheels & tyres. Intact tow hook, steering wheel and shiny base.
Intact shiny black tinplate windscreen and black plastic steering wheel. Subtle repair to inside of one rear wheel.
Colourful, clean and crisp card box has light wear and a couple of surface edge scuffs. ATAMCO (Calcutta) print on the box underside.
