Corgi Gift Set 28

Notes

This would have been a special treat indeed for some lucky little boy circa 1963!

It comprises:

1) 1105 Bedford TK Transporter is in near mint condition. Chip at a wheel arch and a few little marks besides.

Both wing mirrors are complete (including the additional ‘mirror’ pieces). Metal parts are extremely bright, Corgi Dog transfer is complete at the rear.

2) Corgi 232 Fiat 2100. Very, very near mint example, although it lacks one of the headlight jewels (looks as if it never had one, factory oversight). Box is clean and crisp with Corgi Club Membership Form included. Faint pencilled price at an end flap.

3) Corgi 234 Ford Consul Classic is in excellent plus condition with a few little marks at the front bumper primarily. Crisp, clean and vivid box! Corgi Club Membership Form is included.

4) Corgi 222 Renault Floride. Very near mint. Few barely visible micro-dots away from mint. Box is crisp. One edge has a little grubbiness. Minor wear besides. Corgi Club Membership Form.

5) *Corgi 230 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Coupe. Mint in a close to pristine box with Corgi Club Membership Form.

Complete with two original ‘Dummy’ boxes with end flaps.

Box inner is very fresh, clean and bright with all requisite card packing looking clean, crisp and bright. One edge ruffle to one card piece. Complete with the Leaflet too.

The attractive pictorial card box is complete and vividly-coloured with no graffiti. A careful and discreet repair to an end flap seam. Couple of small surface part-splits to the base. Minor wear/creasing and a small area of surface removal at one end of the lid. This box has survived better than most!

A really exciting find.
